Aidiladha in Pahang!

Hi! Assalamualaikum. Days ago Muslims were celebrating Raya Haji Aidiladha.

Do you know what is Raya Haji Aidiladha?

Celebrated on 10th day of Zulhijjah, the 12th (last raya) month of the Muslim Calendar, it arks the end of the hajj pilgrimage period. 

Aidiladha also commemorates made by Prophet Ibrahim, who demonstrated immense faith when he was to the test by Allah SWT. Prophet Ibrahim was commanded to offer his son Ismail to sacrifice. Though, it grieved him greatly, he made ready to perform the task. But, as he was about to strikes his son, Allah SWT stopped him and revealed tht it was trial. At that time a ram was sacrificed in Ismail's place.

During Aidiladha, the sacrifice of four-legged animals such as lambs, and cows is performed.

The slaughter will be perform after congregational prayer. After that, the parts of the animal's meat will be given, one third of the meat for the one who made the slaughter, the rest will be given to the poor and deserving people in the community.
